Location
Located in a tropical environment, the design is focused on reflecting its surroundings. The primary design of the structure was to open up to the nearby coastline. This is reflected in the structure as it curves to align with the coastline.
Culture
The importance of family is evident in the design as the structure is centered around a two story skylight. Furthermore, the structure provides access to the outdoors through various patios and access to trail heads.
